Description

Butterfly valves are rotational motion valves that operate with a one quarter turn, used to regulate, start and stop the flow. These types of valves are very easy to operate. Large butterfly valves are equipped with gearbox in certain cases to simplify operation.

Commonly a butterfly valve has short circular body, round disc, metal to metal or soft seat, top & bottom shaft bearings and a stuffing box. We offer a wide range of butterfly valves such as flanged, lugged, threaded, butt welded, etc. These valves are suitable for handling large flows. Due to minimal number of moving parts and no pockets to trap the medium, the maintenance cost is comparatively low.
